General Rules of Practice for Superior and District Courts (Rule 7)

In North Carolina, pre-trial conference and exhibit handling is governed by Rule 7 of the General Rules of Practice.

Pretrial Marking & Stipulations

Attorneys must mark all exhibits prior to trial and confer to stipulate to authenticity. Unstipulated exhibits require live witness foundation under N.C.G.S. Chapter 8C.
