California Rules of Court (CRC) Rule 3.1110

California imposes strict statewide standards on paper and electronic exhibit submissions under CRC Rule 3.1110(f).

Mandatory Tab & Bookmarking Requirements

• Paper Filings: Each exhibit must be separated by a hard tab extending below the bottom of the page bearing the exhibit designation.
• Electronic Filings: Each exhibit must be bookmarked electronically. The bookmark must include the exhibit letter or number and a brief description of the exhibit.
• Index Requirement: An index of exhibits must be included at the beginning of the exhibit packet.
